Spring is Wedding Season. It's Time to Get Your Invitations

Spring is wedding season, and the time to plan for that special day is now! PGS Printing and Graphics works with Carlson Craft to provide everything you need to announce your upcoming nuptials. When it comes to invitations, it is more than just the invitation that goes out. You have your response card, reply envelope, direction cards, and any other details that go out with it. You can also find thank you cards if you want to keep the theme going from beginning to end.

When it comes to weddings, there is a lot of planning, and to be courteous, you want to inform your future guests as soon as possible, so before the invitations go out, save-the-date cards are often the first thing people will receive to get the news about the upcoming party.

Besides pages of options to look through and choose from, most of the invitation and save-the-date cards can be personalized to fit your tastes, and you can design these online. We are not just talking about what you print on the invitation but how the invitation looks. Most invitations are square or rectangular, but many of our products may be personalized with different trims that fit your personality.

Besides the look, you can also choose the feel of many of the invitations with different types of card stock. Card stock is measured by weight. The number in pounds tells you how much 1,000 sheets of paper weighs. When you choose an invitation on our site, the default stock is a white, smooth 115 lb. stock. Ecru or off-white are available at no additional cost to you. To add some flare to the invitation, you may upgrade your invitations to be printed on white, smooth 130 lb. stock. Other options include White Shimmer, 105 lb., and White Texture, 110 lb. You may also choose from Ultrawhite and Superfine Eggshell, 120lb. stock.

Your invitations will go out to everyone on your guest list, but there are cards you may want to send out to special individuals. “Will You Be My…” cards have become extremely popular. No, you are not asking your significant other to marry you through the mail, but if you are having a full wedding party, there are plenty of people to reach out to. Pop the Question cards can be sent out asking your friends and family to be your maid or matron of honor, best man, bridesmaid, groomsmen, ring bearer, or flower girl. You can also make popping the question fun with cards that hide their role behind a scratch-off layer.

When it comes to your wedding party, we also have plenty of fun gifts as well.

When you visit our Wedding page, you will also see we have what you need to make the reception a success, from menu cards to cake tops and toasting flutes.

When you start planning for your upcoming party, whether it is a wedding, bar mitzvah, or first holy communion, PGS Printing and Graphics can make the planning much less stressful.
